ICC- 2012 Region 24 Champions

After an intense and interesting regular season; I will trade no other finish than winning the Region 24 Men's Soccer Championship with Illinois Central College. From the word "go", I knew we faced an uphill task and that it would take something special to clinch this prestigious title. However, that special thing was nothing other than a basic element namely, HARDWORK. That's from the technical department up to the players and we all did that.

As it was not just a physical challenge, I believe that it was more of a spiritual battle. I had many difficulties along the way, but thank God He gave me the courage to break through those barriers. With a declaration that no injury was to hinder my season; rather career, I experienced an injury-free season. Indeed, He is a covenant keeping God. To cap the long season, I thank God for the opportunity that He gave me to share His word with some of my teammates.

As  my father Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa declared that this is THE YEAR OF RESULTS- so many results came my way and this championship was one of them. Not to mention my inclusion in the Region and Conference's respective 1st teams of the year. Another great result was the ability that God gave me, that's the ability to see His word by just looking at my life, as well as others. On that same note, the results are still coming.

To conclude, I thank God for a successful season that we had and also for all the people whom He put to be impacted by Him through me.
